Seediq Bale is a Taiwanese historical film. The story, Seediq Bale, is about the Wushe Incident(霧社事件). It happened in central Taiwan during the Japanese rule. The Seediq (賽德克人) believed that on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge was the home of their ancestors. Only ___48____ could get there and live there forever after they died.
       However, Japanese forced the Seediq give up their belief. Men had to do hard work and women had to do housework for Japanese. Men couldn’t go hunting and women couldn’t do weaving. He said, "My people, let’s hunt the heads of our enemies, and then we can walk across the Rainbow Bridge to be always with our ancestors." The Seediq Bale and the Japanese fought. The leader, Mona Rudao, led 300 Seediq Bale fighting against 3000 Japanese troopers. The Seediq people almost died out in this war.
