(A) The Carton King Restaurant in Taichung is one of the world's most unique restaurants. It's so unique that it was featured in an episode of the Canadian hit TV show Weirdest Restaurants. The feature that makes the restaurant so original is that everything from the chairs and tables to the plates and cups are made from recycled cardboard. Even the decorations on the walls and light fittings are made of cardboard. The restaurant is the creation of Huang Fang-liang, a paper salesperson, who wanted to show people how versatile and environmentally friendly his paper products could be. All the cardboard in the restaurant is recycled. When chairs break or tables are damaged, they are recycled to make new furniture. The restaurant also features a miniature cardboard zoo, as well as models of the Eiffel Tower and the Leaning Tower of Pisa. The cardboard used in these features has been treated to make it resistant to fire and water. The Weirdest Restaurants TV show described the food as average and a little expensive; however, the unique dining experience has made this restaurant world famous. (模六)
