Subject: Hotel Cancellation
To whom it may concern,
I'd like to cancel my reservation for 2 nights at The Langham Melbourne, checking
in on March 25 and checking out on March 27. I booked a superior king room at
the rate of AU$350 per night. I sincerely apologize for this notice since I was just
informed that my trip to Melbourne had been postponed indefinitely due to the risk
of the novel coronavirus. Once the trip is rescheduled, I will book with your hotel
again since it was highly recommended when I conducted an online search for
accommodation in Melbourne.
My reservation was made through the Taiwan online booking system
Booking.com. According to the cancellation policies on the website, I need to pay
a 1 night cancellation fee if I cancel after 23:59 on 19 March 2021. However,
there should be no further charges from your establishment since I have notified
you more than 24 hours in advance. Can you please confirm that this is the case?

I would appreciate it if you could let me know as soon as possible whether or not
I need to pay any fees for the cancellation. Thank you for all your kind help.
