問題詳情
2. Green living is a popular topic these days. Some people mightask, “What can I do to live a greener life?” You might come up withsome ideas, like carrying your shopping bags, using less water, taking buses or sharing rides. These are good, but they won’t helpthe earth as much as cutting down on meat. A report said that more than 50% of all greenhouse gases comefrom raising animals for meat. Producing one kilo of beef may leadto 36 kilos of CO2. That’s the same amount of driving a car for 250kms; however, producing one kilo of vegetables causes only 1.5kilos of CO2. To save the earth, the UN encourages people to eatmore vegetables and take a pass on eating meat once a week. More and more people are doing that not only for a greenerplanet but for better health. Eat less meat, or eat no meat one day aweek. Think about that, and you’ll make big changes in our world. raise 飼養 greenhouse gases 溫室氣體 produce 生產amount 量 cause 引起 encourage 鼓勵
