六、閱讀測驗 1. Yang Gan-Ling（楊甘陵）, a tree doctor, started to treat plants after he graduated from college. Whenhe was 68, he went to Japan to get a tree doctor’s license. The exam lasted for fourteen days. Mr. Yang wasthe only foreigner passing the exam.  At that time, people didn’t care much about tree health. He treated almost all the sick trees for free. In1997, he cured some Mount Ali cherry trees, a national treasure in Taiwan. After that, everyone knew hisname and invited him to help sick plants. “All lives are equal,” Mr. Yang believes. Like people, when treesget sick, they need doctors, too.
