Since the debut of the prototypicalsuperhero Superman in 1938, stories of varioussuperheroes have dominated American comicbooks and crossed over into such other media as films and animations.    Versatileas these super characters may be, they do share certain traits. We know the double-life secret that Peter Parker is Spider-man, BruceWayne the Batman, and Clark Kent the Man of Steel. The secretidentity has a civilian job while the “super-me” puts on aneye-catching costume, or custom-madeaccessories like Wonder Woman’s bracelets. We are concerned that the bad guys play tricks soas to hurt these protectors.Fortunately enough, our super heroes normally have a base to go for “restoration” to.The Batcavehas everything Batman needs. Isn’tthat great?       Furthermore, these super icons may have some backups and do not always have toworkindependently. The Fantastic Four or X-men team up as theyhave common origins or sponsors. These super teamsare like a marvelouscircle.

Nevertheless, there are downsides being a super hero.Credits are not always given as Batman andSpider-man meet with public skepticismor outright hostility. A super hero mayeven lose controlas the Hulk has an issue with his violentalter ego.

Welove to see the superheroes think big andachieve big. Theyfor sure reflect whatwe are and what we want to be. Well, think about it: isn’tit nice to rest on a giant spider net for a starry sky, or, just acarefree nap?
