問題詳情

(C)Elizabeth is interviewing Dr. Dowell about concentrating in class.

Elizabeth: Dr. Dowell, how can I concentrate better in class?

Dr. Dowell: First, every student needs to have eight hours of sleeping every night and a healthy breakfast every morning.

Elizabeth: You mean I can concentrate well when I am not hungry or sleepy.

Dr. Dowell: You are right. Food and sleep are very important to students.

Elizabeth: I see. Whats the next?

Dr. Dowell: Well, let me ask you a question. Do you have snacks, a mirror or a cellphone with you when you attend a class?

Elizabeth: Hmm I usually have a mirror and my cellphone.

Dr. Dowell: Do you stop and look at them often during class?

Elizabeth: Yes. Oh, I knew it. I have to put away those distractions.

Dr. Dowell: Sure you do! You need only a book, a notebook and pens for a class. The last, get involved in class. Look at your teacher in the eye, so you can always catch him or her. Take notes, answer questions, and ask the teacher when you dont understand something.

Elizabeth: Great ideas! Thanks for sharing, Dr. Dowell. See you next time!

Dr. Dowell: Good-bye!
