Paul was eight and he went to a school near his home. He usually went there and came home by bike. He always got back home on time, but last Thursday he came home late. His mother was in the kitchen and asked him,  “ Why are you so late today?” “My teacher was angry and sent me to the headmaster after our lessons,” Paul answered. “ To the headmaster?” his mother said, “ Why did she send you to him?”  “Because she asked a question in class,” Paul said, “and only I told her the answer.”    His mother was angry. “ But why did the teacher send you to the headmaster then?“Why didn’t she send all the other stupid children?” she asked Paul.“Because her question was,” Paul said, “Who put paint on my chair?”
