五、閱讀測驗: 12% Last night, I was so tired because my school team practiced basketball for three hours. I almost couldn’tmove my arms and legs, so I went to bed right after I got home. I was in a sound sleep for a few hours. But then, something happened. I felt something touch my hairand heard a sound from the window. I opened my eyes. The window was open. That was strange because Iremembered closing the window before going to bed. “Maybe the wind just pushed it open,” I thought.“Then it blew my hair.” I tried to get back to sleep again, but I felt so cold. I had no choice but to get up andclose the window. Then I heard another sound. It was right at my back! I turned and saw a hand stretching out from mybed! That hand just touched my hair! It was not the wind at all. I was terrified. I wanted to cry out for help, but I couldn’t make a sound. The hand suddenly “flew” to my neck! Icouldn’t breathe… “Wake up!” cried my mom. “Time for school!” I felt so happy. I was OK and nothing wasreal last night. I jumped off the bed and turned back. Guess what I saw? A stretching hand right in my bed…
