But I wantyou to know tonight, that we, as a people, will get to the Promised Land!” Dr. King never25 in the commitment to his cause, and 40 years after his death, Barack Obama waselected President of the United States. We are not sure whether King’s dream has cometrue, but thanks to his ever-strong faith and relentless pursuit of justice, America didmove much closer to living out his dream.
