五、 閱讀測驗:
        Froggie was a frog and he never remembered the place he went to. His biggest dream was to find the bestpond to swim freely without being afraid of water snakes. One day, Froggie hopped to a kitchen and jumped into apot full with hot water. Froggie felt the heat and hopped out of the water quickly. “I almost died there!” Froggiethought.
        Later, Froggie went to the same kitchen because he forgot he was there several days ago. He hopped into thesame pot again. This time, the water inside was cool. He looked around and thought, “There’s no water snaketrying to eat me and I can have this place all to myself!” Froggie knew it was his dream pond but he didn’t knowthe water was warming up slowly.
        After thirty minutes of swimming, Froggie felt the water was warmer but he thought of this as a nice surprise.“This is the best place for swimming. I can have a hot bath, too.” During his comfortable bath, the water keptgetting warmer and warmer. Froggie was so comfortable that he fell asleep. And he never woke up.
