The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) revealed the sticker that is meant to cover the misprinted page of
its newly designed Taiwan e-passport at a news conference on Wednesday and emphasized that the sticker would not compromise the   36   and functions of the passport.
MOFA’s Bureau of Consular Affairs (BOCA) began    37    the next-generation biometric passports last December. However,   38   soon discovered that two of the passport pages bear the image of Washington Dulles International Airport in the U.S.
  39   replacing the 550,000 copies of the misprinted e-passports, which   40   taxpayers an estimated NT$220 million, MOFA decided to cover the erroneous part of the passport with a sticker.
The sticker, shown at the news conference, is printed with Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport and a
