Without vital pulp tissue, dentin formation ceases, and the pulp chamber size remains constant維持的 (once the pulp died) , rather than continuing to decrease in size as is normal for vital teeth.若沒有重要的牙髓組織，牙本質的形成就會停止，並且牙髓腔的大小保持不變（一旦牙髓死亡），而不是像重要牙齒的正常大小繼續減小。from: woelfel p.239 :))
