(40-42)      Malala Yousafzai, the youngest Nobel PeacePrize winner, was born on July 12,1997 in Pakistan’sSwat Valley, which used to be a beautiful place.However, her life changed after the Taliban came, asthey stopped girls from going to school and peoplefrom watching TV. So she started writing a blog,under a   pseudonym  , about the worries she had thather school would be attacked. Later, she was made4known to the public because of a 2009 documentaryabout Malala by a New York Times reporter. Thenshe began to give public speeches under her realname to stand up for the rights of girls and women tohave an education. By 2012 most of the Taliban hadto leave, and then girls could finally go back toschool again.          But on October 9, 2012, something terriblehappened. On her way home with her classmates,Malala was attacked on the school bus and almostkilled. She was hurt badly and sent to hospital rightaway to save her life. On December 10, 2014, shewon the Nobel Peace Prize. When a reporter askedher what made her keep fighting for her people, shesmiled and said, “I tell my story, not because it isunique, but because it is not. It is the story of manygirls.”
