這題可能只是要辨別非病毒感染沒白血球下降也非愛利西體寄生白血球，全身性的焦蟲感染血管內外若有紅血球都會寄生並破壞，當然紅血球在血管外機會小，但焦蟲也許不那麼受血管壁限制。血紅素尿在臨床很容易見到，血球破會增加脾，肝，腎的處理量也有一些組織侵蝕性，這些臓器會有紅血球屍體的累積。
