       Pets are wonderful friends that bring joy into ourlives with their love. Sadly, however, many animals areliving lonely lives in shelters around the world, just waitingfor a person to love.
      The animals in a shelter only have a limited time tobe adopted. Many shelters are filled with more animals thanthey can take in, but they must still take new animals inevery day. Some animals must be euthanized to make roomfor the new ones. A brewery in Florida recently teamed upwith Manatee County Animal Services (MCAS) to try andsolve this problem.
     The brewery took pictures of some cute dogs atthe shelter and printed them on their beer cans, along withsome information about each dog. The proceeds from allthe beer sales will be donated to MCAS, so they can builda new shelter. So far, two dogs printed on the beer canshave already been adopted!
