1. Do you know what gender stereotypes are? You might not have heard that term before.
However, I’m sure you know what they are, don’t you? The reason I know that is because we have
all been exposed to those common ideas of how boys and girls should be and act. In fact, we were
exposed to them not long after we were born.

not surprising to people in this day and age. However, did you know that blue was first a color for

    The gender stereotypes don’t stop there. As babies grow into kids, they are told and taught
different things about their gender. Girls are encouraged to play with dolls, be quiet, and act like
little princesses. ＿3.＿, boys are encouraged to play with trucks, be active, and like sports. I don’t
know if you believe that’s how boys and girls are, but you should know that those stereotypes aren’t
good for either gender.
