Mrs. Ke: The topic of your group report for this semester is “A Famous Taiwanese”. You guys need to upload it
before December 10th. Do you have anyone in mind?
Elsa: I’m wondering if we can write about Ang Lee. He’s a famous director. His movie, Life of Pi, is a good one.
Tim: I don’t know who Ang Lee is. Can you explain more?
Anna: I know who he is. He was born and raised in Taiwan, and then moved to the USA to study movies.
Elsa: Correct. He has made lots of great movies and even won Oscar Awards several times.
Tim: Wow ! That’s amazing. But I’ve never seen his movies before. I have no idea what to write.
Anna: Don’t worry. Let’s go rent some of his DVDs first. Let’s talk more after that.
