Did you see a leopard cat around Miaoli? Did you hear a tabby cat before? In fact, it’s hard to tell a leopard cat from a tabby cat. A leopard cat and a tabby cat are different in many ways. As for the appearance and shape of them,look at the pictures below.

They are also different in the following ways.
1. The leopard cat is usually thinner than the tabby cat.
2. The leopard cat can swim well, but the tabby cat cannot. The tabby cat is    terrified    of water, so it always keeps away from touching water.
3. The leopard cat lives both on the ground and in the trees. It eats rats, birds, fish, and eggs. People like to keep a tabby cat as a pet, not the leopard cat. People feed tabby cats cooked fish or chicken.
If you see a leopard cat in the mountains or near Miaoli, you are lucky. It’s because there are fewer than 500 of    them    in Taiwan. Next time, when you’re driving near the Miaoli mountains, be careful not to hit them accidentally.
