Thanks to Lucy’s Law, pet shops in the UK can only sell puppies and kittens over the age of six months. This new law was born in 2018 to protect young animals and stop kitten and puppy farming. Around 95% of the public have agreed on the law since they learned about the poor dog whose name wasLucy. What Lucy went through on the puppy farm caused her many health problems. Lucy went on to be adopted and enjoy a full, but short life in a loving home before she died in 2016.However, her story helped to change the law, and this will save more dogs in the future.

Which do we know from the reading?  我們從短文中知道哪些?(D) Lucy died when she was eight years old.
