The 17th Year of the 30-Hour Famine in Taiwan
       The 30-Hour Famine has been in the world since a group of teenagers in Canada started it in 1971, for raising money or food to help the people in Ethiopia in Africa. Today, a large number of people from all over the world have experienced this activity.
       This year, the 17th Year of the 30-Hour Famine in Taiwan will fall on next month. Come and join us!
Everyone is welcome to join us except:
1. People under eighteen, unless you get your parents’ permission.
2. Pregnant women or patients can’t sign up because you may get weaker.
3. Children under twelve years old can never join it, but you can give up snacks for a day instead.
Place: The Hall at the Happy Senior High School
Time: Saturday, May, 19
Fee: NT$360
There will be a light meal for you after the activity and several kinds of drinks, such as water, milk, and juice will be provided during the famine.
