Many people think pizza is an Italian creation, but itis not. Pizza was first created in Greece. Italians first atepizza in the 1700’s. This pizza was a round, flat bread. Ithad vegetables and spices on top.
     The most popular pizza is Pizza Margherita. QueenMargherita asked a pizza maker, Raffaele Espoisito, tobake her a pizza. Raffaele Espoisito put tomatoes, cheese,and basil on top. It was the same color as the Italian flagred, white and green. The queen loved this pizza verymuch. Soon everyone in the country loved eating PizzaMargherita.
