四、閱讀測驗：  It is Wednesday morning. I see Janice. She is upset. “What’s wrong?” I ask. “Oh, Mr. E! ” she says. “I am worried about Mr. F.” “Where is he?” I ask.  “I don’t know,” says Janice. “Maybe he is hurt. Look at his desk.  ” We look at Mr. F’s desk. There are papers everywhere. There is a bun on a book. And there is coffee on the desk. “See?” says Janice. “Something bad happened.”    I touch the coffee. It is still hot. “He is nearby,” I say. Now there is coffee on my hand. I reach for a tissue. But the box is empty.    I have an idea. “Where is the extra tissue?” I ask. “I don’t know,” says Janice. “Maybe it is in the storage room.”   We go to the storage room. The door is locked. But I can hear something inside. Janice has a key. She opens the door. Mr. F is sitting on the floor.   “Nice to see you!” says Mr. F.

現在是星期三早上。 我看到了珍妮絲。 她很傷心。“怎麼了？” 我問。“哦，E先生！ “ 她說。 “我很擔心F先生。”  “他在哪裡？” 我問。  “我不知道，”珍妮絲說。 “也許他受傷了。 看看他的辦公桌。   ” 我們看向 F 先生的辦公桌。 到處都是紙。 書上有一個饅頭。 桌子上有咖啡。 “看？” 珍妮絲說。 “發生了不好的事情。”    我摸了摸咖啡。 它仍然很熱。 “他就在附近，”我說。 現在我手上有咖啡。 我伸手去拿一張紙巾。 但是盒子是空的。    我有個主意。“多餘的紙巾呢？” 我問。“我不知道，”珍妮絲說。 “也許在儲藏室裡。”    我們去儲藏室。 門是鎖著的。 但我能聽到裡面的聲音。 珍妮絲有一把鑰匙。 她打開門。 F先生坐在地板上。   “很高興見到你！” F先生說。How does Mr. E know Mr. F is nearby?  E 先生如何知道 F 先生在附近？ (A) The coffee on his desk is still hot.  (A) 他桌上的咖啡還是熱的。
