One day, the oldest gorilla in the zoo died. The zookeeper couldn’t find a new gorilla, so he hired an out-of-work mime to dress up in order to act like one. The mime was happy with this job. He not only liked the pay but enjoyed the freedom to take a break at any time he’d like. However, the crowd got bored with him soon. Everyone was paying more attention to the newest animal in the zoo—the lion in the next cage. He didn’t want to lose his job, so he climbed out of his cage and swung on the top of the lion’s. This made the lion very angry, but the crowd just loved it. He even got a raise from the owner of the zoo. One afternoon, the mime was swinging over the angry lion as usual.
