Last July and August, Fred went to Australia for aworking holiday. At the same time, his friend, Ian, wentto Singapore(新加坡) to help his aunt. His aunt has arestaurant there. Fred’s cousin, Emily, took a trip to India.This year, because of COV-19, they all stay in Taiwan.They are talking about the sweet memories in thosecountries.
※ Fred: At the end of June of 2019, I arrived at a smallisland near the Great Barrier Reef. In the beginning, Icouldn’t understand Australian English. I spent twoweeks looking for work and finally got a job as afisherman. I also made many friends. One of my friendsinvited me to his farm. Believe it or not, Australia has themost camels in the world, not in Asia or Europe. However,he doesn’t keep camels on his farm. There are too manyin his country.
※ Ian: Wow! Amazing! I needed to help my aunt, so Iwent to Singapore. Therefore, I had more time to spendwith my aunt and understand Singapore more. There is acolorful city in Singapore. People call it “Little India”because it’s like India. I loved the food there. It was verydelicious.
※ Emily: Interesting. I visited the Taj Mahal in India. Itis a very famous landmark. And I enjoyed the food there,too. By the way, people in India eat with their righthands.
※ Fred: Because of COV-19, we all stay in Taiwan thisyear. However, there are also many beautiful places. Wecan also see “Manhattanhenge” in Taiwan. I went toKaohsiung to watch the sunset. It was between the twobuildings. I took a lot of pictures.
※ Ian: On October 31, I watched Blue Moon on thebalcony of my house. It is the second full moon in themonth.
※ Emily: How wonderful! We are all safe here in Taiwan.Hope everyone is happy and healthy.
