(二)Here on the shores of southern Canada, a whale is dying. After trying for hours to save the whale,the rescue team is giving up hope. Soon the team will face a new problem because when a whale dies,it becomes a time bomb. As the animal begins to rot, gases build up inside it. The team must find a way to free these gases,or the whale will blow up! This video from Ireland from 2012 shows how to deal with a whale that’sabout to pop. Locals found this dead whale on a beach, already full of dangerous gas. With the whalealmost ready to burst, the rescue team acted quickly. They cut hundreds of small holes in the whale’sbody, and little by little they brought down the pressure.Back in Canada, the whale already died, and the rescue team quickly gets to work.
