  1.         On March 3, people celebrate Hinamatsuri in Japan. It is because people often get sick in spring, sopeople put paper dolls on the river and make wishes. They hope the river takes their bad luck away.
       Most parents celebrate Hinamatsuri for their daughters with dolls with beautiful Japanese clothes.Mothers and girls put the dolls on a piece of red cloth on the doll stand at home a few days before March 3until the end of the festival. They wish their daughters may have good life. Also, girls have parties withtheir friends and have chirashizushi and clam soup during the festival.
