(8~10)       Emily hated animals a lot. She never wanted to keep any pets at home. To her, all animals were dirty. Emily never knew why people liked to have cats or dogs in the house. It was so stupid!        Last month, Emily’s son, Rick, came home from school with a mouse in a box. Emily was not happy, but Rick said it was his homework. His teacher asked each student to take care of an animal and learn to get along with it. Emily needed to say yes.       Rick took good care of the mouse at the beginning, but then he did not remember to do his homework. It became Emily’s homework. She gave food and water to it every day and found the mouse was in fact not dirty. She even talked to it. Now Emily is having lots of fun with “her” mouse. She named it Dada. And she wants to buy one more to accompany Dada.   get along with...

Why was Emily not happy to see the mouse? 為什麼艾米麗看到老鼠不高興?(C) She did not want any animals in her house.
