Did you watch the Olympic Games this summer?
Did you cheer for the players from Taiwan? I did.
The host country Japan called ours “Taiwan”, not “Chinese
Taipei”. Because COVID-19 was serious last year, they held 2020
Summer Olympics in Tokyo this year. It was from July
twenty-third to August eighth. There were many exciting
events, like swimming, badminton, table tennis, weightlifting,
and so on. I felt happy when Taiwanese players won the games.
The medals mean their strong wills and hard work.
Through them, the whole world sees Taiwan.
I feel proud of them and learn a lot from them.
