問題詳情

III. Reading Comprehension:
Questions 1 to 5 refer to the following passage
Compared with other countries, admission procedures of US universities, schools, colleges and institutes are highly competitive for international students. The procedures are even more competitive in the top educational institutes. To obtain admission to the top and high-ranking schools in USA you must have:
• Good grades
• Adequate financial support either by receiving   scholarships   or financial aids
• Completed challenging coursework
• Excellent command of the English language
Apart from the above qualities, students must be   competent   enough to meet the individual schools’
eligibility criteria because most of the US schools make separate admission guidelines for foreign students to follow. For international students, a good score in the entrance exam can secure admission in the top US schools and universities. Since the admission for international students is highly competitive and unpredictable in the US, it is always better to apply for more than one college. Most of the American universities require the applicants to submit letters of recommendation from their past educational organizations. Some schools admit students based on the content of application essays. So, while applying to schools in the US, make sure that you write the application essays with best of your writing skills.
