Frank: Hey, John. What are you reading there?
John: I’m reading a picture book. I borrowed it from Jerry.
Frank: Looks interesting. Where did he get the book?
John: He said he bought it at the book fair.
Frank: Book fair? Was there a book fair, or is there a book fair?
John: Yes. It is held at the cultural center right now. It started last Saturday and they went there
on the first day.
Frank: Did you go there, too?
John: No, but Jerry, Maria, Andy, and Michael did.
Frank: How come you and I didn’t know?
John: Well, they discussed it at the library last Friday afternoon. You and I were not there. And they
all bought some books at the fair. Some were only half-price.
Frank: Maybe we can go there after school today. Do you know how late it is open?
John: Until eight. And the fair ends on the coming Saturday. Let’s ask Jenny to go there with us.
Frank: Fine with me. I’ll wait for you both at the bus stop.
