問題詳情
(42-44)
The Beatles was one of the most famous and popular rock bands of all time. Its members were John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr. All four of them were from Liverpool, England, and the band first came together there in 1960. During the next three years, they spent most of their time playing in clubs in Liverpool and in Hamburg, Germany. At that time, they also found a manager to help them become more professional and a producer to help them make great songs.
Their first hit, “Love Me Do,” came out in late 1962, and it didn’t take long for people to fall in love with it and with them. Over the next year, more and more people in the UK heard their songs on the radio and watched them playing on TV and in person. After their first album came out in 1963, the Beatles grew even more popular. By early 1964, they were international rock stars and leading the “British Invasion” of the USA. The band continued to make music until their breakup in 1970. Though the Beatles aren’t around anymore, their music lives on.
