（A）前面兩句 The Chinese invented gunpowder, they put it into...這邊的 “it” 指的就是gunpowder（B）的答案在They often used them to entertain people and show their wealth and power.  （文章的第五句）（C） Before the 1830s, fireworks were not very colorful, only with orange flashes or white sparks.在1830年代前，煙火還沒有很多顏色，所以（C）錯誤（D）的答案在文章的最後兩句Then the Italians started to add a few metals and other things to fireworks. The result was colorful sparks and bright bursts. That is the firework shows you see now.
