After eight difficult months spent living in a very small place on the side of amountain in Hawaii, six scientists were welcomed “back to Earth.” The point of thisexperience was to see how well six people could get along in a place that copied a realspace station in Mars. A large breakfast was waiting for the scientists when they came“back” to Earth. They were also interviewed by many reporters and had to answerquestions about the experience. When they were living in this “space station,” thescientists had many things to do. For example, they had to test a lot of new things for theUS’s space program. Although, they are back, their work isn’t done. All of the scientistsmust meet the people that studied them on “Mars.” The scientists will have to answermore questions, so they can learn what worked and what didn’t, and how you choose ateam for this kind of experience. Maybe soon we will welcome back people from realMars.
