He wrote it as a tribute to Vincent van Gogh. So thesong has another name “Vincent.” Starry Night is one of Vincent van Gogh’s famouspaintings. The painting is famous for its unique style. Unlike most of van Gogh’sfamous works, Starry Night was from the memory, but not out in the landscape. VanGogh never got rich by selling paintings in his lifetime though he is famous now.
