     There are many kinds of pollution in our living environment. But now, the worst problem in Taiwan may be air pollution. Many big cities, like Taichung, Kaohsiung and Tainan, are greatly affected by air pollution. Everyone in these cities almost wear masks to prevent themselves from air pollution. Usually, air pollution gets more seriously in winter because of the cold air. Many doctors advise that people should stay at home if the air is too dirty.
      But, what makes our world so dark these days? With the modern technology, we make our life more convenient and comfortable, but also dangerous. Factories, cars, motorcycles are all the reasons that result in (造成) our air dirtier and make many people get sick. Air pollution may cause diseases such as heart disease, stroke(中風) or lung cancer, even death. The number of death that air pollution causes is rising. Some experts says that air pollution may be from Mainland China(中國大陸). In fact, it also comes from Taiwan itself. Therefore, we need to take action to face it and hope we can live on a cleaner and healthier planet.
