However, peoplecaught too many butterflies and the nature was destroyed.There were fewer and fewer butterflies in Taiwan.Several years ago, some people noticed that. Theythought Taiwan should be the kingdom of butterfliesforever, and they hoped butterflies could still live inTaiwan. They tried hard to create the environment forbutterflies to live. Now butterflies can be seen in manyplaces.
        In Kaohsiung, Maolin is a famous spot to watchbutterflies. From November to next year’s March,millions of purple crow butterflies stay here. Every yearmany visitors go to Maolin for them. It is said that thebest time to watch them is before 11:30 in the morning orfrom 2:00 to 3:30 in the afternoon. Long-sleeved clothesand pants should be worn, and visitors can bring cameras,water, hats, or telescopes. Visitors can’t catch anybutterflies there. If visitors want to go to Maolin, theycan surf the Net first.
