Whether (是否)和 If (是否) 的差別1.『是否』較長的說法是whether or not = whether or not 而慣用語上，有if ~ or not，無 if or notex: I know whether/if he loves you or not.     I know whether or not he loves you.     (我知道他是否愛你。)2.如果以『是否』為句子的開頭，應該用whether，不用ifex: Whether we can stay with my mother is another matter.     (我們是否能夠跟我母親待在一起又是另外一件事了。)3.如果是接在介系詞之後，必須只能用whetherex: There was a big argument about whether we should move to a new house.     (我們曾經因為是否應該搬去新家而有番爭吵。)4.只有Whether能夠接在不定詞之前...
