問題詳情
【B】 Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) outbreak which was first appeared in Wuhan, China, in December 2019 have caused more than 335,000 cases in over 190 countries. Until 22 March, more than 14,600 deaths and 97,000 recoveries have reported. Most people infected with the COVID-19 virus will experience some symptoms such fever, tiredness, and dry cough. Other respiratory symptoms also includes shortness of breath, sore throat and very few people have a runny nose, too. The best way to protect yourself and others from infection is not only washing your hands but also not touching your face. Washing your hands is often more important than wearing a surgical mask. Both “wet wash” and “dry wash” are good ways to help people keep from catching the virus. A wet wash is washing one's hands under running water with soap and scrubbing for more than a minute so one's hands are very clean. Using only warm water has no effect. A dry wash is using an alcohol-based hand cleaner to clean one's hands. Moreover, according to doctors’ advice, masks can be reused if the they do not get wet and are not used for more than four to six hours in high-risk places like hospitals. Doctors say that masks can be sterilized under the ultraviolet (UV) light for 30 minutes. However, the masks must then be stored in a clean dry place for three days before being reused. One can also use spraying alcohol on both sides of the mask, as long as the mask still works.
At this time, there are no specific vaccines or treatments for COVID-19. Therefore, we should be as careful as we can while the COVID-19 virus are keeping spreading.
