 It was Saturday afternoon. Jason was bored.
 Jason: Mom, I’m bored. There’s nothing to do. Can I playcomputer games?
 Mom: You spent too much time on it last week. No morecomputer games this month! How about those oldtoys, radios, and robots you collect? You love to fixthings, don’t you?
 Jason: But I don’t feel like it today.
 Mom: Well, why don’t you see if Richard can play with you?Jason called Richard. He wasn’t home. He was reading inthe library. Then he called Danny.
 Jason: Hi, Danny. I’m bored. Can you think of somethingfun for me to do?
 Danny: You bet! You can help me water the plants. I’mworking in the garden.Jason: That sounds even more boring. Can you think ofsomething else fun for me to do?
 Danny: Nope, I’m busy right now. Why don’t you askEmma?Emma’s grandma answered the phone.Emma’s Grandma: She has a sore throat and stays in bed.
 Jason: That’s too bad. Nobody can help me have fun. I’m sobored.
 Emma’s Grandma: Well, isn’t that your fault? You’re incharge of having fun, not somebody else.Jason: What do you mean?
 Emma’s Grandma: I mean, you can make your own fun.You don’t need others to make it happen.Just look around and think about it. Youcan find something fun to do.
 Suddenly, Jason had an idea. He picked up his broken robot.He cleaned it and made it work again. It could wave handsand say “Hello!” He showed it to Emma and hoped her toget well soon.
