A tree’s monologue    It’s quite easy being a tree, there’s nothing else I want to be. It’s really quite a lot of fun, standing all day in the sun. Even when the rains arrive, the water makes me feel alive. I gather water with my roots, and use it to make leaves and fruits. But it’s not all great, I’m telling you─there’s quite a lot a tree can’t do. We can’t get up and walk around; we have to stay in the ground. I’d also like to talk to men, who come by every now and then. I want to tell them not to use fire! It is the last thing I want. Don’t cut us down if you are able─use something else to make a table. Don’t kill the trees to build a farm, you’ll causing everybody harm. You should know things that are green will make your air more fresh and clean. So, humans, we should work together, to keep Earth green. harm傷害
