Just when I was ready to pay, the clerk asked, “Would you like a straw with that?” On another day, when I was ordering at a fast food restaurant, I said, “I want a hamburger and a Coke, please.” The clerk said, “Would you like some drinks with that?” In both cases, I did my best not to laugh out loud, but all the bystanders had a good laugh at these funny mistakes.
