For example, the metro system in London is the oldest in the world. It has a history of 153 years by 2016. People call the system there The Tube. New York’s merto system is well-known, too. One of the largest systems is the system in New York, which has 468 stations. As for the longest passenger route length, the merto system in Seoul is the No. 1. How about the busiest metro system in the world? The answer must be Tokyo Merto in Japan. There are more than 6.2 million people taking it every day. They even have “ people pushers” to help passengers get onto the train. This way, doors can be closed easily. And the deepest metro system on earth is Saint Petersburg, Russia. One of the stations there is 105 meters underground, which is about 35 stories of a tall building!
