      Have you ever used a typewriter to do your report? Are you still using a Walkman to listen to music? For many teenagers, the answer is no.
      In the past, different technology was used to make people’s lives more convenient. For example, more than twenty years ago, beepers were popular machines for people to get in touch with each other. Once they noticed their beepers going off, they would find a phone to call the number back. In 1990s, millions of people used beepers in Taiwan, but now no one uses it anymore.
      Now more and more people use smartphones. They touch their phone screen and chat with friends easily. With smartphones, they can listen to music, watch videos, shop online and use different social media to reach people. Smartphones maybe popular now. However, they may still be    out of date    someday. Maybe in the near future, your glasses will take the place of smartphones.
