題組D        Have you ever listened to rock music? If you have, you will know it can be as loud as the sound of a plane taking off and this can seriously hurt our ears. Mothers in America try very hard to stop their kids from listening to such music.        Kathy Peck, a rock music singer, did what those mothers did : Ask her fans to turn down the music. But why did Kathy do so ? She lost half of the hearing in her left ear and she didn’t want other rock stars and her fans to be like her. Then she founded H.
(E)A.R. to help keep people from losing their hearing. It helped rock singer, rock music player and rock fans a lot.       “ Hearing loss usually happens to rock singers and rock music plays,” Kathy said, “But we need a pair of good ears to make good music so that we can rock music.” Today, more and more singers are trying to keep their voices down when they sing, and music plays don’t play music so loudly anymore.
