問題詳情

[III.]
You can think about two dolphins swimming in the ocean. You hear many sounds coming from dolphins. It is just like aconverstaion(對話). We can’t be sure what they are talking about, but scientists(科學家) do believe dolphins call each other by“name.”
A study says dolphins not only create their own special “sounds,” but they also copy sounds of other dolphins they are close toand want to see again. Dolphins can call their friends or families by copying their sounds.
“They’re names,” said Randall Wells, one of the scientists of the study. Scientists found that dolphins which know each otherwould copy the sounds of another dolphin in that group even when they were separated(分開) from each other. Most of thishappened among mothers and babies, or among dolphins who were close friends.
If dolphins can talk to their friends with just a few sounds, it’s easy to think about what else they’re saying.
