         Mayday, the five-man rock band from Taiwan, is going to start their U.S. tour with a performance at Madison Square Garden on March 22.
         The members of Mayday are old high school friends. They became famous by playing their songs in bars and performing in concerts. They are now around 40 years old, but they still look like a boy band as they first started their career in 1997. Following their dreams is how they stay young. They’re not like many other popular singers who just sing about love. They also sing about dreaming big. They wish to become the “Chinese Beatles” someday because they want to influence the young people like what the Beatles did. Fans who were once students have kept listening to Mayday’s music until now. They can always find songs that sing what they see, what they hear and what they think. Mayday keep fans coming to their concerts by making them part of the dream. Fans feel excited and encouraged in their concerts.

 "If this time it's Mayday, then next time Jay Chou and Jolin Tsai can step out on to the world stage." said Ashin. "We hope that our fans can bring more Westerners to learn about our music," said the guitarist and band leader Monster.
