(Craig’s P.164)coupling agent的主要成份為矽烷（silane）。（Ｂ）It provides a hydrophobic environment that minimizes water absorption of the composite.coupling agent讓吸水性降低，以防止水份入侵水解。(Craig’s P.169)（Ｄ）It forms an interfacial bridge that strongly binds the filler to the resin matrix. It enhances the mechanical properties of the composite and minimizes the plucking of the fillers from the matrix during clinical wear.coupling agent增強物理性質，增強強度，減少摩耗。(Craig’s P.169)排除ABD選項後，故可選C。口語版：偶合劑coupling agent即為把filler和matrix黏在一起的膠水，目的是讓共價鍵結更緊密，防止水份入侵水解、與抗彎強度有關。
