         Brian was terrible at math. Even when the math taecher explained the question the second time, Brianstill couldn’t understand it. One day, he decided to do one thing on the math exam—cheating. He satnext to Smart. Smart was always at the top of the class in math. He carefully copied Smart’s answersonto his own exam paper. At the end of the exam, the teacher collected the papers and graded them.             
         Then the teacher said,” Well, boys and girls, I’ve decided to give a prize to the student at the highestgrade in math. It’s difficult for me to decide which one I should give the prize to because the twostudents, Brian and Smart, got the same grade.”
         “ Let them share it,” one of the other students said. “ I’ve thought about that,” the teacher said,” butnow I decide to give the prize to Smart.”
        Brian was angry when he heard this. He stood up and said, “ That’s not fair. I got the same grade asSmart.” “ That’s true,” the teacher said. “ However, Smart’s answer to the last question was ‘ I don’tknow.’ Yours was ‘ I don’t, either.’”
