三、閱讀測驗 I.   A taxi driver stopped his car on the street side to take a rest. When helay down in the seat and closed his eyes, a man came up and knocked at hiswindows to ask the time. The driver opened his eyes and looked at hiswatch. “It’s 2 p.m.” he said. Then he went to sleep again. But soon he wokeup because another man was knocking at the windows. “Sir, do you have thetime?” he asked. The driver looked at his watch again, and told the man itwas 2:30.    The driver was really bored. If it went on, he couldn’t have a good rest,so he wrote a short note, and put it on the window for all to see. It said, “Idon’t have the time.” Again the driver lay down in the seat for his sleep. Afew minutes later, a third man came along and began knocking at thewindow. “Hey, sir,” he said. “It’s a quarter to three.”
